(To) Kallinike, my lady (and) mother.

(From) Ammon, Greetings.

Now before all things I pray for you to be healthy from the Lord God. Indeed, you do know even the things that are in our house, and especially that I am in a foreign land. Therefore, being interested in even you scrutinize each day about my salvation. For you do know that I have no one with me, not a siste(r) or a brother, not a son, nobody else except me (and) God alone. I implore you therefore, lady, my mother, remember me and one day, not how I die in a foreign land having nobody. I want you to know you that the blessed one (you) obtained from God has died, and here sent away these things.
